Assistive Technology Specialist

DakotaLink is seeking a full-time Assistive Technology Specialist in Sioux Falls, SD. Starting salary is $45,000 depending on experience. Occasional overnight travel is to be expected.

Job description: The ideal candidate will assess individual needs for assistive technology, along with providing installation and training on all types of assistive technology, with a primary focus on computers with specialized hardware and software, personal environmental control systems and other types of assistive technology. The consumers served will be individuals of all ages with a wide range of disabilities in southeastern South Dakota. Candidate should be comfortable ocassionally working in attic spaces, on ladders and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Come make a difference with DakotaLink and see why we love what we do!!!!

Requirements:

Degree in computer science or field experience with Assistive Technology

Great customer services skills

Able to lift up to 50 pounds
